Curriculum
Curriculum INTENT
Our intent is to have a broad, balanced, creative and engaging curriculum in which we offer support for children to become well-rounded individuals who contribute to our school community and society in general. Our children should develop into confident risk takers who, through a purposeful, meaningful and relevant curriculum, become both reflective and forward thinking.
The following document is the Primary National Curriculum that was statutory from September 2014:
Phonics Teaching
The school uses Letters and Sounds as its Phonics Programme. This is taught in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 to help our children to develop their reading skills. Information on this can be found on the Letters and Sounds website by clicking HERE.
